UAE Formula racer Rashid Al Dhaheri is set to compete in the prestigious FIA FR World Cup, 72nd Macau Grand Prix, marking his third consecutive appearance at one of Asia’s most iconic motorsport events. The 17-year-old Emirati driver, known for his precision, resilience, and rising international profile, continues to make history as he represents the UAE and the MENA region on the global racing stage.

Rashid’s journey from karting circuits in the UAE to the demanding tracks of Europe has been nothing short of remarkable. With over 40 international Formula race weekends and multiple podium finishes, Al Dhaheri has proven himself as one of the most promising young talents in motorsport.
His return to Macau follows standout performances in the 2023 and 2024 editions of the Grand Prix, where he impressed with his technical skill and competitive spirit on the thrilling and highly demanding street circuit. In 2023, he claimed a podium finish, becoming the first Emirati to raise the UAE flag at the Macau Grand Prix.
“I’m thrilled to be back in Macau,” Al Dhaheri shared. “It’s a circuit that demands everything from a driver: focus, courage, and precision. I have grown with every lap here, and I am ready to push even further this year.”

First held in 1954, the Macau Grand Prix is one of the world’s most challenging and historic street races, renowned for launching the careers of top Formula 1 drivers. The 3.8-mile Guia Circuit is a technically complex track that combines tight corners, high-speed straights, and elevation changes, testing both the skill and endurance of every competitor.
Al Dhaheri’s participation underscores the UAE’s growing presence in international motorsport and reflects the country’s commitment to nurturing young talent. As the only representative from the MENA region, the Mercedes-AMG F1 Junior Team driver continues to break barriers and inspire a new generation of racers across the region.
The 72nd Macau Grand Prix will take place from November 14–16, 2025, drawing elite drivers from around the world to compete on the legendary Guia Circuit.
