About Rashid Al Dhaheri
Rashid’s motorsport journey began in 2011, at just three years old, during his first visit to the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix. Enthralled by the sounds of the engines, the precision of the teams, and the pit stop practices, Rashid spent hours captivated outside the teams’ boxes. His passion was noticed by a team engineer, who invited him inside, cementing his dream of pursuing a future in motorsport.
In January 2013, Rashid had his first karting experience in the UAE, followed by training in Italy that summer. His competitive journey began in October 2013 at the Al Ain Raceway, where he finished runner-up in the UAE Championship’s opening round. Since then, Rashid has claimed numerous victories, including becoming a 5-time Dubai O Plate Champion, Macao International Kart Grand Prix Champion, and multiple World Series of Karting (WSK) titles.
In 2022, at just 14, Rashid reached significant milestones, participating in the prestigious “19th Supercorso Federale” of the Italian Motorsport Federation and becoming the first Arab to reach the Ferrari Driver Academy Scouting World Finals. That year, he joined PREMA Racing and debuted in the FIA F4 Italian Championship.
Between 2023 and 2024, Rashid competed in over 30 international F4 race weekends, achieving multiple podium finishes despite being one of the youngest drivers. In early 2025, he advanced to Formula Regional, continuing his ascent in motorsport.
