About Rashid Al Dhaheri

In 2011, at the age of three, Rashid’s motorsport journey started with his first visit to the newly established Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix. He was enthusiastically standing in front of the Ferrari box for hours, excited about what was going on: the sound of the engines, the teams’ work on the cars’ setups, the drivers’ focus, and the pit stop practices. This passion and curiosity were noticed by the Ferrari team, and they have taken Rashid inside their box. From that moment on, Rashid knew what his future should be like.
Rashid’s first karting experience took place in the UAE in January 2013. During the following summer, he undertook a training program in Italy, leading to Rashid’s first race participation at Al Ain Raceway (UAE) on the 4th of October during the opening round of the 2013-2014 UAE Championship, which he finished as runner-up. Since then, Rashid has won multiple races; among them, Rashid is a record-holder in his home country as the 5-times Dubai O Plate Champion, Macao International Kart Grand Prix Champion, and multiple World Series of Karting (WSK) Champion.
In 2022, at the age of 14, Rashid has been invited to participate in the “19th Supercorso Federale” of the Italian Motorsport Federation and has also become the first Arab driver to reach the Ferrari Driver Academy (FDA) Scouting World Finals. In the same year PREMA Racing has announced that Rashid will join PREMA and make his single-seater car racing debut in the FIA F4 Italian Championship.

Throughout the 2023 season Rashid participated in 13 race weekends and, despite being among the youngest on the grid, achieved several podium finishes, such as at the Macau Grand Prix. Rashid won his first F4 race at Sepang International Circuit (Malaysia).
